Every SATURDAY @ 3:30 PM @ the Roobarb cafe 77 WESTMOUNT RD.

We do church differently. For one thing, we meet in a cafe. So, “Coffee & Tea Time" is basically all the time.

Every gathering starts with a territorial acknowledgement as a way to recognize that the land where we gather has been the home and traditional territory of the Attawandaron people and is still the home of the Anishnaabe, Haudenosaunee, and Metis. It’s one way we express how grateful we are to live, work, study, and grow in our faith on this land. It’s one way we acknowledge the history of colonialism and broken covenants, and deep-rooted racism and discrimination towards Indigenous peoples. It’s one way we affirm Indigenous peoples’ resilience and leadership in building new relationships that are mutually respectful, loving, and justice-seeking.

Since January 2019, April and Drew have been leading a workshop series based on Stephen Covey’s The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. We’re not viewing this book as a business or productivity how-to. We’re learning about spirituality; connecting more to ourselves, God, and our neighbours; being proactive; and having a vision for our lives. These gatherings have included a guided meditation, small group discussions, communion, and a blessing as we leave.
