Every 2nd Wednesday of the month @ 5:30-8:30 PM @ Church of the apostles (86 Glasgow Street N.)

Strangers become friends, ideas become action, the ordinary becomes holy, we are fed and we learn to feed others - all around a simple table.

Dinner Church is an opportunity for people to come together, make a meal from scratch, and enjoy free food and great conversation. This event is free and open to all! Come with a friend!

We are thrilled to have Chef Ryan Stockdale (a Red Seal from The Bruce Restaurant, Cambridge) in the kitchen. The menu changes every month and vegetarian options are always available.

The topic of discussion also changes every month, so your input is always welcome. We’ve discussed tiny homes & minimalism, the film “Get Out,” the 50th anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr’s assassination, the role of Jesus in Christianity & other religions, the 2018 provincial election, Buddhism, and many more topics. Come and share your questions, doubts, joys, and experiences in a safe and supportive community.

If you can, please come between 5:30-6:30 pm to help set up tables and prepare the food. But if you can’t, that’s cool. Just come between 6:30-8:30 pm for dinner, conversation, and clean up.

IMPORTANT NOTE: We have people with severe allergies to nuts and latex (fundraising bracelets, rubber bands, hair ties), so please don’t bring food or items that contain these products. Thank you so much!
